Lhoyer re-released
The Italian guitar magazine "Seicorde" (http://www.seicorde.it) has re-released Soloduo's recording of Antoine de Lhoyer's "Duos concertants", originally released by Naxos in 2007. "Seicorde" is one of the oldest and most popular guitar magazines in Italy. Soloduo's CD was distributed in the July-September 2016 issue of the magazine (No. 128).… READ-MORE

Tansman rediscovered: Soloduo premieres Alexandre Tansman’s “Sonatine” on Feb. 22, 2014
Lorenzo Micheli and Matteo Mela will give the world premiere of Alexande Tansman's newly discovered "Sonatine" at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in San Francisco CA, USA, on Saturday, February 22, 2014.
This four-movement work was written by Tansman upon request of Andres Segovia one year after the composer's most famous guitar piece, "Cavatina". The Sonatine was originally composed for one imaginary guitar with extended polyphonic and harmonic resources: the use of a second guitar seems therefore more suitable to render its thick musical texture
